世界征服者4至暗时刻(Darkest Hour)是国内玩家制作的一款历史向大型MOD，以二战为背景深度还原了多个关键历史战役。该模组现已更新至最新版本，涵盖国内外热门战役场景，并对将领系统进行全面优化调整，玩家可根据个人喜好自由选择体验。

完成当前章节所有关卡可解锁后续章节。建议关闭动画显示功能！若出现将领攻击后闪退情况，请更换将领单位，避免在千血部队上部署将领。未购买将领直接点选将领会导致闪退，此属正常现象。

阵营选择

在"二战欧洲"、"二战太平洋"与"冷战"章节中，玩家可选择两个独立阵营。不同阵营拥有专属关卡内容和奖励机制。

关卡难度

每个剧本关卡设有多个难度等级，需依次解锁。难度越高，通关奖励越丰厚。

战区系统

战区主要产出勋章与勋带，需拥有5位以上将领方可解锁。完成战区所有关卡后，系统会根据歼敌数量计算总分发放奖励。同一战区可重复挑战，切换或刷新战区需消耗1个指令点。已出战将领在战区刷新前无法再次使用，请谨慎选择。

前线模式

通关二战欧洲主线剧本后解锁的高难度玩法。玩家需面对源源不断的敌军增援和坚固堡垒，成功通关可获得稀有奖励。

国家分级

征服模式中国家分为1-3星三个等级，星级越高初始实力越强，游戏难度相应降低。

外交系统

通过外交界面可向盟友提供资源援助，或对中立国宣战使其变为敌对国。

科技发展

国家发展受科技等级限制，科研所获取科技点的同时会积累科技等级经验值。

城市建设

满足科技等级要求后，可建造各类功能性建筑促进城市发展，建造前需确认资源消耗。

胜利评定

征服胜利后根据多项指标进行评分，包括出征将领、占领城市、回合消耗和国家难度等。将领数量不再影响评分。

国家科技

挑战征服中可升级国家科技，需达到相应科技等级解锁。各国初始科技水平和上限存在差异。

外交策略

可对同阵营或中立国宣战，部分敌对国家可招降。招降成功率受城市数量、部队规模、忠诚度等因素影响。需与目标国接壤且游戏进行20回合后方可招降。
